Context

The vulnerability implies that your resource is currently running with a very old version which is no longer maintained by the publisher.
In the event of the discovery of a public vulnerability impacting your version of the product, the publisher has no obligation to provide security patches.

The product running the obsolete version is impacted.
 

Exploit or command to run

As there is no concrete vulnerability related to the findings, this section as well as the "Consequences" section are non relevant.
However, public vulnerabilities impacting end of life product are often critical.
 

Remediation

In the Stoik dashboard, it is indicated what type of update fault we have identified:
 
Thus, OS End of Life Detection indicates that it is the server's operating system that is too old and needs a refresh.
 
The small "network infrastructure" insert on the side confirms that the vulnerability concerns the network infrastructure and therefore the hosting server
 
It is also possible that it is the application that is missing updates. In this case, the insert will specify: "Web application".
 
It is in any case necessary that you take control of your hosting server (via a contact from your hosting provider or by asking your IT manager who installed it) and update the relevant resource.
